| Well - DfC (Drink for Charity) is the fund raising vehicle for Baobab, Baobab is a UK registered charity which supports conservation organizations in Southern Africa. Baobab focuses on grass root projects that don't receive regular funding and that are playing a vital role in conserving endangered species and key wild-land areas. All funds raised from DfC events are donated to Baobab. |

| So where has your cash been going? |

Wildlands Trust, Lion call-up equipment project – Natal: The call up equipment will be used for research and monitoring purposes.
Moholoholo Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre: Baobab have helped build a Rehabilitation cage to assist in the rehabilitation of injured wild animals, the Ground Hornbill project, this project aims to re-introduce Southern Ground Hornbill into the Kruger National Reserve. Ground Hornbills have been extinct from this area for the last 50 years. Recently Baobab have fully funded the extension of their hospital for injured animals. |

Los Cedros: Los Cedros is a cloud forest in Ecuador and is one of the top ten hot spots in the world for bio-diversity. Baobab have sponsored a communication system that assists with the vital work they are carrying out.
The South African Crane Working Group: Baobab have sponsored a Crane breeding pen. The Blue Crane, our national bird, has declined in numbers by 80% and the Wattled Crane is the critically endangered list hot spots in the world for bio-diversity. |

| What are we looking at supporting in 2003? |
KZN Oribi conservation project? The Oribi is an endangered species, and needs our support to ensure that this small antelope remains with us in KZN.
Blue Swallow project: Baobab is looking at projects to conserve South Africa's most endangered bird. |

Vulture Rehabilitation: There is an increasing number of vulture poisoning incidents being reported in South Africa. Baobab is in discussions with various groups to find out how best we can help.
We are also looking at marine conservation projects in Mozambique, leopard relocation project .. Why not give us feedback on projects that you would like to see Baobab support!

| You can make a difference by joining us on our events. Events hosted by Drink for Charity last year where an amazing success not to mention great fun.
